Abstract

The current Argopuro Naval Academy Armory, with a total of 900 cadets, is still not feasible. According to standards, due to the lack of effective weapons storage, namely when the number of weapons is maximum on the rack provided, many weapons are placed under the floor, which will make it difficult to carry out weapon calculations and checks. This research is an R&D that uses Steps based on the Center for Educational Policy and Innovation Research (Puslitjaknov) of the Research and Development Agency (Balitbang) of the Ministry of National Education (Depdiknas), which contains three main components, namely 1) development model, 2) development procedure, 3) product trial. Based on the data, the Argopuro Arsenal Revitalization Model was prepared. The results of the assessment of the Argopuro Arsenal Revitalization Model are: a) able to improve the security of weapons storage through the implementation of more sophisticated security systems, such as the installation of CCTV, strengthening access control, and the use of digital-based monitoring technology. b) Implementing an automated inventory system and a more structured spatial arrangement allows the process of storing and retrieving weapons to be faster and more organized. c) Improvement of Operational Standards that are more measurable and documented, so that the process of storing and managing weapons can take place according to the expected standards
